Introduction of Surah Fatihah
Sūrat al-Fātiḥah, also known as "The
Opening," is the first chapter of the Quran. It is considered one of the
most important chapters in the Quran as it is recited in every rakat (unit) of
the five daily Islamic prayers, and it is also recited in various other
occasions such as funeral prayers.
The chapter contains seven verses and is
written in Arabic. The main theme of Sūrat al-Fātiḥah is the oneness of God and
the need for guidance and help from God. It starts with the phrase "In the
name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" and contains several
other phrases praising and seeking help from God.
